July Class Schedule

Thursday, June 26, July 10, 17, & 24, 12-1pm

Peyote Workshop - $60.00

Peyote seems to be the most popular weaving stitch here in the shop.  We thought it would be a great idea to introduce you to the many different styles of Peyote.  Arlene has a great schedule of workshops that will provide you with many tips to help you understand and read patterns.  The first workshop will introduce you to Flat Even Count Peyote and Tubular Peyote.  The second workshop will be Odd Count Peyote, which is used a lot in patterned Peyote.  Please check the website for an update on the remainder of workshops.  If you happened to miss the first workshop please don't hesitate to still sign up.  We will work with you to learn what was missed. These workshops do not include clasps.

Knotting Workshop with Diane Rivers - Sunday, July 20th 2-4pm, $25.00

This month Diane will be offering a workshop to teach you how to knot with silk.  Previous classes included the ever popular Lariat, Pearl Knotting and Multi-Strand Knotting.  If you missed any of these then this is a great opportunity for you.  In the workshop you will be given a card of size 8 Griffin Silk Thread and a strand of beads.  You will practice making knots and once you leave you will be able to complete all of the knotting projects.  If you have pearls or beads you would like to bring with you that would be fine.

Beaders Bootcamp - $10.00

This month we will repeat the Caterpillar Bracelet.  At the first workshop you will learn 2-Drop Peyote using Delica beads to make the base.  The following two sessions you will learn how to enhance the top and attach a clasp.  Please contact the shop to sign up and receive a supply list.



Tuesday, July 8, 15, 22 & 29, 6-7pm

Ndebele/Herringbone Workshop - $20.00 each class

This month Karen will introduce to you several different Ndebele/Harringbone stitches.  The first workshop will introduce you to Flat Ndebele.  The second workshop will be Tubular Ndebele.  Please check the website or stop in to the shop to see what will be taught for the third and fourth workshops.  These workshops do not include clasps.

Introduction to Netting - $30.00

Friday, July 25th 11-1

Using seed beads you will learn the technique of netting.  Netting is a beautiful weave that produces an open and lacy finished piece of jewelry.  This class will be a 5-bead netting bracelet. 

Saturday, July 26, 10-12am

Netted Bulb - $30.00
Join Sue to learn this cute netted bulb decoration.  All supplies are included and a great project for beginners.  A great project to do for the holidays!

Sparkling with Swarovski - $45.00

Join Alaina as she teaches you the right angle weave stitch.  You will complete this bracelet in a color way of your choice.
